Jr. Browns NFL Flag Football for boys and girls. Held in Longwood Park. Practice starts the week of August 11th, practice day determined by the Coach. Games will be played starting Saturday, September 6th (subject to change due to weather, weekdays will be used as make ups if necessary). Practice(s) held throughout the week all season. Players receive a jersey and flag kit. Volunteer Coaches are needed.

Recreational league for boys and girls, hosted by the Mac Rec, designed to advance the participant's soccer skills while maintaining the fun. Practice one day during the week decided by the coach and play games on Saturdays. Games start September 6th. Volunteer coaches needed.

Soccer Recreational league for boys and girls. We participate in the Tri County League and will have home/away games against Aurora, Solon, Chagrin and Kenston. Practice starts the week of August 18th, practice day and time determined by the coach. Games will be played primarily on Saturdays starting Saturday, September 6th for 7 weeks (subject to change due to weather, weekdays will be used as make ups if necessary). Practice(s) held throughout the week all season. Shin guards with socks covering are required, soccer cleats recommended. Volunteer coaches are needed.

New this year! A fun and highly instructional introduction to baseball for boys and girls ages 3 and 4. Players learn the basics of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, and base running. Kids receive a team shirt, hat, and medal! Participants should bring their glove, pants/shorts, rubber cleats or sneakers. You may use your own batting helmet and T-Ball bat (we will also provide for the team). All practices and games are held Friday evenings

Youth Golf Lessons with Windmill Golf Center

This instructional golf program covers the fundamentals of grip, stance, and posture. Participants will sharpen their skills through putting, chipping, wedge play, irons, and cover a session on woods. The short course is used for on course play, and learn basics of etiquette and safety, while broadening their skill set.

Spring Youth Tennis Lessons

Come and learn how to play tennis! Participants will learn everything from the proper way to hold the racquet, strokes, parts of the tennis court, scoring, and match play. Lessons will be differentiated based on the skills of each of the players. Each lesson is designed to develop skills, agility, game strategy, and the enjoyment of a lifetime sport. Participants will be grouped by age and ability. All participants are required to bring their own tennis racquet, water and/or a sports drink.

Youth Tennis Camps

/The Macedonia Recreation Department, is offering week long tennis camps for boys and girls. Participants will experience small/large group instruction and match play. Each clinic is designed to develop skills, agility, game strategy and the enjoyment of a lifetime sport. Each day the athletes will participate in conditioning, ball control activities, detailed stroke instruction, fun games, and match play.
