Last week, the Macedonia Police Department joined officers from Sagamore Hills and Northfield Village for active shooter response training at two area churches.

Through realistic scenario-based exercises, officers practiced identifying and neutralizing threats while protecting victims in high-stress situations.

We hope this is training they'll never have to put into practice, but we're grateful for the professionalism, courage, and commitment they demonstrate to protect our community.
