Join us this Memorial Day as the Nordonia Hills community comes together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Memorial Day Events – Monday, May 25
⭐ The VFW Post 6768 Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. The parade starts at St. Barnabas, travels north on Olde Eight Road, and ends at Northfield Macedonia Cemetery. Be sure to look for our Macedonia Fire and Police Departments along the route and give them a wave!
🔴 Parade participants: Please enter from the south St. Barnabas entrance (at the bottom of the rosary path). Staging personnel will direct parking and lineup locations.
⭐ Memorial service at Northfield Macedonia Cemetery at 11 a.m. following the parade.
🔵 At 1:30 p.m., all are invited to Veterans Memorial Park in Macedonia for a Memorial Day ceremony hosted by American Legion Post 801 to honor our fallen heroes. Parking is available at the Girl Scout headquarters.
⭐ The VFW will also host an open house at 8584 Olde Eight Road in Northfield with a free luncheon served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Emergency Assistance Center will be accepting donations during the open house.
