Congratulations to the Nordonia Girls Basketball Team!

Macedonia Mayor Nick Molnar honored the team with a proclamation during tonight’s City Council meeting, recognizing their outstanding season and district championship.

The young team overcame early-season challenges to capture the program’s first-ever district title, defeating Perry in overtime. Senior Haydn Paul earned First Team District and Second Team All-State honors from the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association, while senior Taylor Morgan received Honorable Mention District recognition.

Congratulations on an incredible season full of resilience, teamwork, and heart every step of the way. Macedonia is proud of you! Go Knights!
