Recreation Center

The Macedonia Recreation Center is the hubspot for the Parks and Recreation Department hosting a wide range of community events and programming throughout the year.

The 56,000 square- foot facility offers a family friendly gym environment, complete with new weight machines and free weights, private exercise rooms, sauna, steam room, indoor track, activity pool, and lap pool.

Members of the Recreation Center receive special rates on programs, rentals, and enjoy the fitness classes for free!

Senior Center

The City of Macedonia subsidizes the Senior Center to offer entertainment, games, snacks, community room and kitchen.

Participants freely establish their own card games and mahjong games or simply stop in for a quiet place to read. The Center also offers Musical Entertainment, Movie Theater days, Bingo days, Birthday Parties, Podiatrist appointments, Resources & Contacts to local services & businesses.

Longwood Manor

A staple in the City of Macedonia, Longwood Manor was built in 1924. It’s architectural style is Tudor Revival which was popular among the wealthy in America in the early 1900’s.

Now managed by the Longwood Manor Historical Society, the facility hosts open houses and events throughout the year.
