Martial Arts for Kids 7 weeks/7 classes Instructor: Brian Pennebaker Brian is a 2 nd Degree Black Belt with over 30 years of experience. He is an instructor at Your Best Defense. Training focuses on building fundamental skill sets in stance, kicks, hands, blocks, and grappling. Core skills in balance, coordination, and self-discipline are also emphasized. Self-Defense techniques will be presented and practiced. Respect for one another is emphasized throughout the class. The children will not be learning forms (Katas). They will learn to apply their skills to real self-defense situations. Class is divided by age group. Testing for rank occurs every 12 weeks. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the class.
