Experience the benefits of Yoga while bringing balance to your body while increasing flexibility and strength. Is life stressing you out? You'll learn an easy-to-learn short form of T'ai Chi Ch'uan in class. The class will concentrate on relaxation through the motion of T'ai Chi Ch'uan. Balance, flexibility, and strength will also improve through the practice or T'ai Chi Ch'uan. Body/Mind/Spirit. Practicing T'ai Chi Ch'uan is good for your body – it increases your energy level and mental clarity too. T'ai Chi links the body, mind, and spirit in a slow, rhythmic, dance-like workout you'll find soothingly relaxing, and physically stimulating. Wear loose clothing and tennis shoes. No drop ins.   Martial Arts for Kids

7 weeks/7 classes Instructor: Brian Pennebaker

Brian is a 2 nd Degree Black Belt with over 30 years of experience. He is an instructor at Your Best Defense.

Training focuses on building fundamental skill sets in stance, kicks, hands, blocks, and grappling. Core skills in balance, coordination, and self-discipline are also emphasized. Self-Defense techniques will be presented and practiced. Respect for one another is emphasized throughout the class. The children will not be learning forms (Katas). They will learn to apply their skills to real self-defense situations. Class is divided by age group. Testing for rank occurs every 12 weeks. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the class. It is important to know what tactics and techniques your child is learning. No drop ins. No coupon.
